For the Aam Panna:

  • Raw mangoes (medium-sized): 2
  • Mint leaves: 1/2 cup
  • Roasted cumin powder: 1 tsp
  • Black salt: 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar or jaggery: 3–4 tbsp (adjust to taste)
  • Black pepper: 1/4 tsp
  • Salt: to taste
  • Cold water: 2 cups
  • Ice cubes: as needed

Making process

Step 1: Boil the Mangoes:

  1. Wash and boil the raw mangoes in water until soft (about 10–15 minutes).
  2. Let them cool, then peel and extract the pulp.

Step 2: Prepare the Pulp Mixture:

  1. In a blender, add mango pulp, mint leaves, sugar/jaggery, cumin powder, black salt, black pepper, and regular salt.
  2. Blend into a smooth paste.

Step 3: Mix and Serve:

  1. Add 2 cups of cold water to the paste and mix well.
  2. Pour into glasses, add ice cubes, and serve chilled.
